Moved o Compton, California in 1954, and nine years later settled in Holy Mother Venice where he has lived until his death in 1995. He is survived by three sons. He "earned his bread" as a union sound electrician and was an active member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers union. He was active in Venice community activities, in the Venice Town Council and the Venice Canals Festival. He loved all types of music, but especially jazz and classical music.
